When:  Dec 10, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM (ET)
The ability to foster critical thinking and problem-solving is a standard that dental schools must meet according to the Commission on Dental Accreditation. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, this was often met during direct patient care sessions—requiring students to apply information from foundational courses into clinical dentistry diagnosis and treatment planning. However, as patient care was restricted in March 2020, many dental schools were forced to search for creative ways to foster clinical critical thinking.
