Have you ever been in a community and wish you could just search easily within just that community?  Now you can.

Look for the Search this community: box on your community’s home page.  It will allow you to do just a general search by typing your search term then pressing ENTER or you can narrow your search by entering more options.  (See image below for more clarification)

Here’s how:

  1. Enter your search term
  2. Press Enter or the magnifying class

To Narrow your search further (optional):

  1. Click on the down arrow key to open up the additional search parameters.
  2. Date range: you can search for results that were posted ‘on this day’ or you can enter a start and end date.
  3. Posted by: (you can select all or some of these fields to narrow the search to a person that posted the discussion)
    1. First Name
    2. Last Name
    3. Compan
    4. Email Address
  4. This is where you will see the results of your search.

SPECIAL NOTE:  If you don’t find any results, you may need to widen your search parameters by removing any text you have in the Date Range and/or Posted by fields.
