What professional tips or advice would you like to share about your profession?
Dentistry involves ethics, professionalism and critical thinking that are applicable to one’s professional and personal life too.
What is your #1 reason for becoming an ADEA member?
To stay current in my knowledge of other dental specialties, sections, and special interest groups and to work in an interprofessional scheme of health care.
What has been the most rewarding experience of your career?
The most rewarding experience of my academic career has been following the growth of a pre-dental or first-year dental student to a new dentist.
How has ADEA Connect been useful to you?
ADEA Connect helps me stay in tune with colleagues nationally and internationally and exposes me to learning opportunities through webinars and discussion posts that enhance my abilities as an academician.
What is your favorite hobby or place to travel?
My favorite hobby is browsing through bookstores and libraries where I enjoy spending hours reading random books and magazines while sipping on tea or coffee and munching on biscotti. My own ‘lil tea party’.
