Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, congressional offices are currently closed to the public. This year, we are connecting virtually with Members of Congress. The 2021 ADEA Virtual Capitol Hill Day is an opportunity to let lawmakers know that oral health is an important part of overall health. It is a chance to educate them about the devastating public health issues connected to poor oral health, and how the dental education community is helping to meet the health care needs of Americans across the nation. It is also an opportunity to tell elected officials about the great work the dental education community has done in the fight against COVID-19.
