This is Part 2 of the Tip Tuesday articles on how to search the entire ADEA Connect community.

You can search for specific content using the site search, as shown below, or in the header.

After entering a search term and clicking the magnifying glass (or pressing Enter), the page displays all the matching results. There are several ways to filter the results.

  1. All Content- This is a list of the content types that the search term is associated to. Click a type to refresh the list to display results for that content type only.
  2. More Filters- This area lists the filters that are relevant to the search results. Expand a section to apply one or more filters (such as community, formal tags, and comments) to refine your search results. At the bottom, you can also refine your results by how recently the content was created.
  3. See matching...- Search results that are associated to Discussion threads and Library Entries which have a link that you can click to focus your search to that topic.
  4. Sort By:- Use this dropdown to sort your results by RelevanceMost Recent, or Least Recent.

In case you missed it, here is Part 1 - How to Search for Content Within Your Selected Community.

SPECIAL NOTE:
You can also search for items specifically in your community library by using the Search This Library Only feature. It is located on the library page.
